The Gold Standard Scholarship
The Goldwater Law Firm is a nationally recognized firm committed to the community we have in our home base of Phoenix, AZ. For over 20 years we have been serving this area with compassionate legal aid, but we could not have got to where we are today without the help of a higher education.
It is entirely unfortunate that privilege of a higher education is largely determined by financial standing. Attorney Bob Goldwater believes everyone should have the opportunity to seek a brighter future through a college degree. That is why The Goldwater Law Firm is launching the Gold Standard Scholarship, a scholarship that will grant three students each a $500 scholarship to be used on tuition or other education-related expenses.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Students who have been accepted or currently attend a 2 or 4-year college or university in Arizona.
GPA of at least 3.0.
Employees of The Goldwater Law Firm and their relatives are not eligible to participate.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit their application and essay via this form.
ESSAY TOPIC
At The Goldwater Law Firm, we’re known as The Gold Standard of Injury Law, because we’re dedicated to going above and beyond to not only fight for what our clients deserve, but to serve as their trusted partner during one of the most challenging times of their lives.
In 500-750 words, tell us about a time you went above and beyond to support someone in your life who was going through a challenging time, along with what you learned from it.
IMPORTANT DATES
October 23rd, 2020 – We will begin accepting applications for the Gold Standard Scholarship.
April 30th, 2021 – Application deadline. Submissions after this date will not be accepted.
May 17th-21st, 2021 – The chosen winners will be notified via email.
May 24th – June 11th, 2021 – The checks will be distributed directly to the winners. We will coordinate a time with you to pick up your award!
**The winning applicants will be announced on The Goldwater Law Firm’s social media accounts. By submitting an application, you agree to allow us to use your submission for marketing purposes.
